So much beauty in poetry

By

So much pain,

So much love,

Very little shame.

We speak in parables,

Hoping the reader understands,

No no no, these aren’t babbles.

I put on paper my hearts desire,

And hope that one day,

I’d find the fire,

To bring to life all that she screams,

Oh my soul, bear with me

It’s not as it seems.

Why do I relate Piety with disgust?

Religion, religion,

Why now must I mistrust?

My brothers and sisters truly do endure,

Through pain and suffering because of this Piety.

Deity.

Freity.

Hungry.

Thirsty.

A shame to you all who put a building higher than a human,

A shame to you all.

I am the future come alive

I will not stand idle while you suck us dry

NO!

This is not a game,

These are souls!

Hungry. Thirsty. Souls!

Turned away from the church

All in the name, of Piety

You see how similar that is…

TO DEITY.
